Wow. That’s all I could think as I watched this documentary-style video shot by an American, Derek van Dijk, who was living in Orient Bay when Hurricane Irma slammed into Saint Martin. Take the time to watch the entire video, it’s very informative and does a good job of showing different parts of the island, as well as different scenes from during the storm, after, the chaos that ensued, driving around to see the damage, and, finally, the evacuation on day 7.
