SXM Festival Returns in 2020, Early Bird Tickets on Sale, Releases 2019 After-Movie (VIDEO)

SXM Festival, an international electronic music festival, is returning to Sint Maarten in March 2020 following their triumphant return in 2019, after a year-long hiatus. Unlike the Heineken Regatta, which takes place mainly in the water and returned immediately following Irma in the Spring of 2018, the organizers of SXM Festival took 2018 off to give the on-island recovery more time to take effect. And boy was it worth it.

Tickets for the event go on sale today, Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at noon eastern and can be purchased here. The festival will be held near Maho Beach on Beacon Hill Road. Named by Billboard Magazine as “the most beautiful festival in the world,” SXM Festival is returning to the island for the fourth time.

Here’s a great 2019 after-movie video they released today to hype the event and get your blood pumping:

I fell in love with the island of Saint Martin the first time I visited to celebrate my 40th birthday in May of 2009. Since then, I've spent most birthdays there, and have visited countless other times getting to know this wonderful place and the friendly locals that make it so special. I adore the culture, the people, the community, and the beauty of this stunning island. SXM Strong is a website that I started to support humanitarian relief efforts following Hurricane Irma. There was no plan, it just evolved as I witnessed the devastation that Irma caused the island and the huge need to communicate and disseminate information about what had happened and how people could help support this island and its people.
