Our friend, SXM Angie, continues her tours around the island and she’s been fast at work getting great video and photos of as the island bounces back. Today’s update is Grand Case on the French Side of the island.
We showed you some video earlier this week of Grand Case, with shots of Le Petit Hotel, Bleu Emeraude Hotel and Love Hotel. Angie tells us that Sky’s the Limit is already open and they sustained minimal damage from the hurricane (picture below).
In addition, Talk of the Town is working hard on rebuilding their lolo as you’ll see in the photos below. They’re planning to reopen on December 1, just in time for the holiday season.
Les Bains was the very first bar to reopen in Grand Case. They’ve been open for over a month now thanks to the hard work by their owner, Arno Ace.
So, as you can see, Grand Case is bouncing back nicely so far but, of course, there is still a lot of work to do. Below you’ll find a few more photos of Grand Case Beach and a special video of Grand Case Bay taken from the pier. Enjoy!
