Everyone has their favorite parts of Saint Martin and for my wife and I, our favorite place was Grand Case.
Whether we were sitting on the beach at Calmos Cafe dipping our toes in the sand while watching the sun dance across the sky, celebrating a special event at Le Pressoir, or just having a casual family outing at Piazza Pascal; Grand Case always felt like home. We loved these places and, more significantly, we loved the people who were there and always treated us like family. They made all the difference.
When I watch this video, or look at photos, of Boulevard de Grande Case I always find myself looking to see if maybe, just maybe, there’s something I can see that will look somewhat normal. I’m always disappointed, saddened really. It’s hard to watch, for sure.
In the end, seeing this video, all the photos, and knowing what everyone there on the island has gone through and continues to go through, just makes me more motivated to help get things back to normal. I hope you feel the same way. And if you haven’t (or have) please donate to help rebuild SXM.
